126 new Corona cases detected in Uttarakhand; total case count crosses 1500

There have been 126 cases of corona infection in Uttarakhand on Tuesday, June 9. After this, the total number of infected people in the state has now reached 1537. At the same time, 41 patients were discharged on Tuesday. With this, 755 patients have been cured in the state. There are 719 active cases. At the same time, a policeman in Dehradun has also been found to be corona infected. CMO Dr. BC Ramola said that home quarantine will be arranged by looking at the risk factor.

According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department, 997 samples were found negative in the sample investigation report on Tuesday. At the same time, 126 people were found infected with the coronavirus. One in Almora, five in Bageshwar, 21 in Dehradun, seven in Pithoragarh, seven in Haridwar, four in Nainital, Pauri and Rudraprayag, 72  in Tehri and one case of corona in Uttarkashi have been reported.

Tehri district has the highest number of 72 infected. Of these, 69 infected patients have returned from Maharashtra, Mumbai, two from Delhi and one from Madhya Pradesh. The number of infected in Tehri has reached 221. 21 infected patients have been found in Dehradun district. These include one health worker, one policeman, four from Mumbai, one from Delhi, one from Pune, one from Jammu, one from Niranjanpur Mandi agent and 11 infected patients who came in contact with the infected.

Corona infection has been found in four people from Delhi in Rudraprayag district. There is no travel history of seven infected patients in Pithoragarh. Of the seven infected patients found in Haridwar district, five have returned from Mumbai and two from Delhi. The travel history of four infected patients in Pauri district is from Mumbai.

Two of the five patients in Bageshwar are in Pune and three are close contacts. 4 patients have been found in Nainital. 770 samples were sent from the state on June 9 for testing while results of over 5500 samples is awaited. Of these nearly 3000 are from Haridwar district itself. There are 60 containment zones in the state.
