Uttrakhand Corona cases: Less than 1000 active cases remain

In Uttarakhand, the number of active corona patients has reduced to less than one thousand. The total number of active patients fell to 997 on Wednesday. After seven months, there are so few active patients in the state. According to the Health Bulletin of the Department of Health, the number of active corona patients in the state on July 17, 2020 was 996. After almost seven months, on Wednesday, the number of active patients once again is 997. It is known that the number of corona patients in the state is steadily decreasing.

Due to this the general public as well as the health department has taken great relief. Due to less patients, the pressure on hospitals is reducing and the path of treatment for common patients is also getting easier. Health Secretary Amit Negi said that the decline in the number of active corona patients in the state is a good sign but people have to maintain complete caution. Especially social distancing, mask and sanitization is very important.

54 new patients today, four died

According to a bulletin issued by the Health Department, 54 new corona patients were found in the state on Wednesday and four infected people died. With this, the total number of corona patients in the state has increased to 96281. Out of which 92280 patients have fully recovered. While 1655 people have died. According to the bulletin, not a single new corona was found infected in Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Tehri districts on Wednesday.

While 22 have been found in Dehradun, one in Chamoli, Uttarkashi, eight in Haridwar, 11 in Nainital. Four patients died today. One was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, one in Himalayan, one in Mahant Indresh and one admitted in Haldwani Medical College. On Wednesday, 95 patients from hospitals across the state were discharged after recovering. The rate of infection in the state is four and a half percent while the rate of recovery of patients is 96 percent.
