Metro will run soon in Bhopal,Indore; CM Shivraj inaugurates model coach

Metro is expected to run soon in the two most important cities of the state, Bhopal and Indore. Today, MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has inaugurated the model coach of Metro in the capital Bhopal. This metro model coach is the actual model of the metro train itself. The metro running in Bhopal and Indore will be made by combining three such types of coaches. Assembly elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh at the end of this year, before that the gift of metro to the state can prove to be a big bet for the BJP government.

When will the Bhopal-Indore Metro work be completed?

Talking about this metro, its length will be 22 meters and width will be 2.9 meters, which will cost 5 crores. The interior of the coach is the same as in the rest of the metro train. It is being told that the preparations for the trial run of metro trains in Bhopal and Indore have also been completed and the trial run of these metro trains will start in the middle of September this year. Under this metro project, Orange Line and Blue Line are being constructed in Bhopal-Indore. The work of Bhopal-Indore Metro project will be completed by December 2026. The length of Bhopal Metro line is 31 km and the total cost is 7000 crores. And the length of Indore Metro line is also 31 km and its cost is Rs 7500 crore.

Talking about the Indore Metro Rail Project, the Yellow Line is being constructed in Indore city whose length is 31.3 km. This line also has an underground portion of 8.7 km. The Yellow Line has 21 elevated stations.

While under the Bhopal Metro project, two lines – Orange Line and Blue Line are being constructed in Bhopal city. The total length of the Orange Line under construction from AIIMS to Karond Square is 16.74 km. In this, the underground part is 3.39 km and 14 elevated stations will be built.
