Delhi records 1607 corona cases in last 24 hours

The number of corona infected patients in Delhi is increasing rapidly. On Friday also, the number of corona infected patients was recorded 1607 in the last 24 hours, which is the highest figure recorded this time. In the last 24 hours, two infected patients have also lost their lives, after which a total of 26,174 patients have lost their lives due to corona. This figure is the highest recorded after 4 February.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department of Delhi Government on Saturday in the last 24 hours, the number of recovered / discharged / migrated out of infected patients was 1246. The infection rate of daily patients has also increased to 5.28. After this, now the total number of infected patients in Delhi has also increased to 5609. A total of 30459 people had their corona test done on Friday, in which 1607 were found positive.

Due to the rapid increase of corona patients, now their number in home isolation has also increased to 3863. The good thing is that only 139 infected patients are admitted in hospitals. Due to the admission of some suspected patients, their number is 148.

According to the Health Bulletin, the number of containment zones in Delhi has also increased to 632. At the same time, the number of callers to the Covid helpline was also recorded at 427 in 24 hours, while the number of callers for ambulances was recorded at 1547. So far, the total number of infected patients in Delhi has reached 18,81,555. The overall positivity rate has also been recorded at 4.97 percent. The mortality rate has been recorded at 1.39 percent.

3377 new patients came across the country in 24 hours

On Friday, 3377 new cases of corona virus were found in the country, that is, 311 more patients have been found today than yesterday. There has been an increase of 883 in the number of active patients on Saturday as compared to Friday. However, the death toll on Saturday stood at 50 as compared to 60 deaths on Friday.
