Uttarakhand Corona update: 20 new cases found on 27 December
In Uttarakhand, 20 new infected have been found in the last 24 hours, while 35 patients have recovered. Presently 213 active patients are undergoing treatment. So far 344799 people have been infected in the state.
According to the Health Department, 20 people were found corona infected in four districts on Monday. 12 cases were in Dehradun, 5 in Udhamsinghnagar, 2 in Nainital and 1 corona-infected case has been reported in Champawat district. In the last 24 hours, 35 patients have been sent home after recovery. By including these, 330973 corona infected have become healthy so far.
The concern of the Health Department has increased due to the confirmation of three more new cases of Omicron, a new form of corona in Uttarakhand. On Monday, two elderly people in Dehradun and one youth in Haridwar were found infected with Omicron. Three infected have returned from Yemen and Dubai. While Omicron variant infection report of a woman who returned from London has come negative. So far, the number of Omicron infected has increased to four in the state.
