CDS Bipin Singh Rawat among 13 dead in helicopter crash

A military helicopter carrying CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Now information has been received that there were 14 people in total in the helicopter. 13 people have been reported to have died in the accident, while 1 person has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Debris was badly scattered on the spot. The whole country was praying for the well being of General Bipin Rawat and all the people aboard the helicopter at that time. According to the information received so far, 14 people were on board the helicopter. In the pictures that have emerged from there, the helicopter can be seen burning with smoke.

The government will give information about the military helicopter Mi-17 V5 that crashed in Tamil Nadu today in the Parliament on Thursday. At the same time, the Indian Air Force has ordered an investigation to find out the cause of the accident.
