Delta variant of Corona has spread to 124 nations: WHO

Regarding the increasing delta variant all over the world, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that this deadly variant will become more effective within the coming few months. The first case of Delta variant was reported in India. Since then it has spread to about 124 countries of the world.

This variant is responsible for about 80 percent of the cases reported in America. At the same time, the same is true of many other European countries including Britain. Due to this, cases are increasing continuously in South Korea. Yesterday where more than 1700 cases were reported there, today more than 1800 cases have been reported. Similarly, new cases are making a new record in Iran as well.

According to the World Health Organization, cases of delta variants have been reported in 13 other countries in a week. In many big countries, its cases have increased for three consecutive weeks. In the update of the epidemic given by the organization, the possibility has not been ruled out that in the coming time some more variants of corona virus may also appear and become dominant in the world.

The World Health Organization has listed alpha, whose first case was reported in Britain, beta whose first case was reported in South Africa and the gamma variant, whose first case was reported in Brazil, in the list of variants of concern. According to the updated information of WHO, alpha has so far spread in 180 countries of the world, beta variant in about 130 countries and gamma in about 78 countries.
