Rajpal Singh son of Darika village resident Dalveer Singh had on Saturday commented on the activities of Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat and posted the live video on Facebook. In the matter, BJP’s Nagar Mandal President Pawan Nautiyal demanded action against Rajpal in the Purola police station.

The police took Rajpal into custody and interrogated him. Police station In-charge Rituraj Singh Rawat said that on Saturday, the accused had made an objectionable remark against the Uttarakhand Chief Minister. Then once he had been left with a warning, but he again posted abusive comments and videos on Facebook late evening on Saturday.

A case will be filed before the magistrate on Monday against the youth filed under section 153 of the IPC. Dalveer Singh, state agitator and father of the accused youth said that this is misuse of power by the BJP government.
