Petrol-Diesel price hiked for 6th consecutive day

The price of petrol was increased by 57 paise on Friday. At the same time, the price of diesel increased by 59 paise. This is the sixth consecutive day that oil marketing companies have changed fuel prices. Before that, there was no change in the base price of oil for about 82 days. According to a notification issued by oil marketing companies, the price of petrol in Delhi rose by 57 paise to Rs 74.57 per liter on Friday. At the same time, the price of diesel also increased from Rs 72.22 to Rs 72.81 per liter.

This increase has been made across the country. However, due to local sales tax and VAT in different states, there is a difference in the price of petrol and diesel. In the last six days, there has been an increase of Rs 3.31 in petrol and Rs 3.42 in diesel. Petrol price in Mumbai reached Rs 81.53 per liter on Friday. At the same time, the price of diesel reached Rs 71.48 per liter.

On the other hand, the price of petrol in West Bengal capital Kolkata reached Rs 76.48 per liter. At the same time, you have to spend Rs 68.70 to buy a liter of diesel. Petrol price in Chennai reached Rs 78.47 per liter and diesel price reached Rs 71.14 per liter.

In Noida, the price of petrol has come down to Rs 76.59 per liter on Friday, while the price of diesel has reached Rs 66.60 per liter. Petrol price in Gurugram has been increased to Rs 73.75 per liter and diesel to Rs 65.82 per liter.
