Heavy snow forecast as storm hits North East USA

New York, Boston and several other cities in the Northeast of the US could be covered nearly in two feet (60.96 cm) of snow on Monday. The cause is a powerful icy storm, moving toward the US east coast. The National Meteorological Department has given information about this. Snowfall is expected to begin in the Northeast from late Sunday. More than 20 inches of snowfall is forecast in eastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, parts of southern New York and southern New England, according to the Meteorological Department.

This storm can disrupt life in New York. In such a situation, the school has been declared closed on Monday and the corona vaccination work has also been affected. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said during a Sunday press conference that schools would remain closed on Monday and officials are rescheduling appointments for the Coronavirus vaccination. There is a lot of danger and difficulty around Monday.

Winds are expected to reach 50 mph by Monday. The storm will gradually move toward northern New England on Tuesday night and weaken on Wednesday. The storm hit Washington DC with more than 2 inches of snow in many areas.
