Petrol, Diesel prices reduced after Central government lowers excise duty
The central government has given a big relief to the common man by reducing the price of diesel and petrol. The Central Government on Saturday announced a reduction of Rs 8 in excise duty on petrol and Rs 6 on diesel. After this, petrol has become cheaper by Rs 8.51 and diesel by Rs 7.08 in Dehradun in the capital of Uttarakhand. The cheapest petrol in the state is available in Roorkee and the most expensive in Pithoragarh.
