Students failing in more than 3 subjects not to be promoted in next class says CBSE

In CBSE schools, from Class I to 8th, if students fail in three subjects, they will not be promoted. The HRD Ministry has issued these instructions for classes I to VIII. At the same time, failing in two subjects in the 9th annual examination, they will not be able to move to the next class. For this, the CBSE has issued guidelines for all schools. This rule has been implemented since 2018. It has been reported to all schools. The effect of the new rule is also on the results of the schools. So far, in many schools the results have been released, while results in many will be announced this week.

In every class, the result of 15 to 20 per cent students is getting worse. If the results of St. Michael High School in Patna boasted of 100% result every year, but this time 5 to 10 percent of children in every class have failed. This is also the case of good schools such as the Notre Dame Academy, Loyola High School.
