Woman lecturer set on fire outside college in Maharashtra

A case of burning a female teacher outside her college has come to light. The incident took place on Monday morning in Hinganghat area of ​​Wardha district in Maharashtra. The 25-year-old lecturer has been identified as Ankita Pisudde. She is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nagpur in a burn condition of about 40 percent.

The incident took place at Nandori Chowk in Hinganghat, Wardha. Police have taken the accused Bikesh Nagrale into custody and a case of attempt to murder has been registered against him. The lecturer, who has burnt 40 percent, is battling between life and death at the Orange city Hospital and Research Center in Nagpur.

According to the information received, accused Nagrale is married. He came back from the bike and stopped Ankita near Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Mahila Vidyalaya, where she teaches. The accused then put kerosene on Ankita and set her on fire. Police is looking for the reason behind this attack, but unrequited love is believed to be the reason.

Woman’s condition critical

The people present on the occasion said that the accused escaped from the spot after handing setting the woman on fire. The people present there helped Ankita and the fire was contained. By then the police too reached the spot after getting information about the incident. Seeing Ankita’s critical condition, she was immediately taken to Nagpur. At the same time, doctors said that Ankita’s face, head, neck have been the most affected, which has affected the respiratory system.

Case of unrequited love

It is being told that the accused and the woman knew each other. When he expressed love on Monday, the woman flatly refused. After which he carried out the incident. Acting swiftly in the case, the police has arrested the accused. It is being told that he was also angry with the victim’s marriage being decided elsewhere.
