Corona update Uttarakhand: 41 new cases found on 11 August

On Tuesday, 411 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand. With this, the total number of patients has increased to 10432. 169 patients were discharged from hospitals after treatment. While two corona-infected patients have died.

According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department, 143 cases were from Haridwar, 36 in Almora, 8 in Champawat, 82 in Dehradun, 49 in Nainital, 9 in Pauri, 3 in Rudraprayag, 39 in Tehri, 32 in US Nagar and 10 in Uttarkashi. Out of the 6746 results received today, Corona virus has been confirmed in 411 samples.

Two patients admitted to Haldwani Medical College and AIIMS Rishikesh died. With this, the total death toll of corona infected patients in the state has risen to 136. According to the bulletin, on Tuesday, 169 patients were discharged from hospitals after treatment. With this, the number of patients who have been cured so far in the state has reached 6470.

While 3787 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals. More than five thousand samples have been sent for investigation for the second consecutive day on Tuesday in the state. More than a thousand samples have been sent from the US Nagar district alone for investigation.

The number of pending samples in the lab has reached 10 thousand 54 samples. The rate of doubling of corona patients in the state has reached 23.82 days, the recovery rate of patients is 62 percent while the infection rate has been almost five percent.

In Haridwar district, the graph of patients has increased rapidly to 2432. While the number of patients in every district of the state has crossed 100. The number of active patients in Haridwar and US Nagar districts has also crossed 1000. There are 1104 in Haridwar while 1054 are active patients in US city. There are 479 containment zones across the state.

Uttarakhand Corona testing nears national average

After increasing the number of corona testing in the state in the last few days, the average of tests per lakh population has now come close to the national average. 1873 samples are being tested per one lakh population in the country. While 1770 samples are being tested per one lakh population in the state. Hill districts in the state are leading in the rate of testing as compared to plain districts.
