Haldwani youth’s enterprising agriculture startup ‘Plant Orbit’ achieves turnover of Rs 30 lakh
In today’s era, when agriculture is continuously decreasing and cities are turning into concrete jungle, problems like climate change, global warming are now coming to the fore, so people are planting indoor and outdoor plants even in a small space. You can have greenery in your home even in the city. Plant Orbit has been established at a young age by Gagan Tripathi, a resident of Mukhani, Haldwani, to make people aware of indoor and outdoor plants.
It is said that there is no age for success and if talent goes in the right direction, it leads to success.
Gagan Tripathi, who lives near Mukhani area in Haldwani, is a student of B.Sc Agriculture, and due to his love for trees and plants since childhood, he started online nursery as a startup Plant Orbit along with his studies. In just 3 years, Gagan’s business has reached a turnover of 30 lakhs through Plant Orbit Online Nursery along with his diligent hardwork. At present, Gagan is delivering 200 species of plants to its clients through Plant Orbit in many states including North India.
Gagan Tripathi said that initially he did face problems, but gradually with the use of digital media and social media, knowledge of trees and plants and delivery of plants to the people at the right price made his work advanced rapidly. Gagan claims that in today’s era indoor plants at the cheapest prices can only given by plant orbit. According to Gagan, as the work is increasing, he is giving employment to more and more people.
Gagan, who founded Plant Orbit at the age of 21, says that for the first time when he went to attend a seminar, he got information about the rates of indoor plants and outdoor plants. After which he visited many nurseries. So he felt that he could provide saplings to the people at a very low price. So in today’s digital era, he established Plant Orbit, which is moving in a better direction today. Gagan says that in the next 5 to 10 years, he wants to make Plant Orbit India’s largest online plant platform. And providing saplings to the people at the lowest price is their first priority.
