7 killed in road accident in Agra-Lucknow expressway

7 people were burnt to death in the accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Sunday evening. The van coming from the express side on the expressway collided with the truck coming from near the Unnao toll plaza. Both vehicles caught fire after the accident. SP of Unnao, Vikrant Veer said- 7 people were in the van. Everyone died of burns. Their bodies have been sent for postmortem. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the incident.

According to the information, on Sunday evening a van full of passengers was going towards Unnao. The speed of the van was very fast and it was moving in the wrong direction. The van’s tire exploded in front of the toll plaza of Bangarmau Kotwali area. The uncontrolled van then collided with the truck coming into the second lane on the toll plaza. The van was fitted with an LPG kit and caught fire after the collision. The fire also engulfed the truck. Three fire engines arrived on the spot extinguished the fire, but by then seven passengers in the van had died. The driver and cleaner of the truck escaped after the incident.
