PM Modi asks for 9 minutes from countrymen on April 5
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared a video message with the countrymen amidst the crisis of Coronavirus spread across the country. In his message, he appealed to the countrymen that the darkness of Corona needs to be defeated by the power of light. In that light, let us resolve in our mind that we are not alone, nobody is alone. 130 crore countrymen are determined with the same resolve.
The Prime Minister said that and if at that time, if all the lights of the house are switched off, when every person lights one lamp all around, then you will realize that superpower of light, in which we are all fighting for the same purpose, it will be revealed.
In his message, the Prime Minister told the countrymen that the nationwide 21 day lockdown during the Corona global epidemic has completed nine days today. He told the countrymen that on Sunday, April 5, we all have to meet and challenge the darkness of the crisis of Corona, it has to shown the power of light. On this 5 April, we have to awaken the superpower of 130 crore countrymen. He has asked the countrymen for nine minutes of Sunday night.
The PM asked the countrymen to turn off all the lights of their house and light a candle lamp, torch or mobile flashlight for nine minutes while standing at the door of the house or in the balcony and turn off all the lights of the house at that time.
He also pleaded with the countrymen that “I have another request that nobody should be gathered anywhere at the time of this event. Do not go in the streetsor mohallas, do it from the door of your house, balcony.”
Public is the form of God
The PM said that the manner in which you (the public) all have shown both discipline and service during the lockdown is unprecedented. The administration and the public have tried their best to handle this situation well.
PM Modi said that it is time for lockdown, we are definitely in our homes, but none of us is alone. The collective power of 130 crore countrymen rests with every person.
He said that it is believed that Janata Janardhana is the form of God. Therefore, when the country is fighting such a big battle, people should be constantly unite to come together as a positive energy.
