South Korea to start K League from May 8 onwards

South Korea’s football season is set to begin on Friday after two months gap amid coronavirus panidemic. However, this match will be without audience. Also, new guidelines have been issued to avoid corona infection. Under this, players will not be able to celebrate after scoring goals, will not join hands and will not even talk among themselves in the middle of the match. Questions have also arisen regarding the guideline. Incheon United captain said that it is not possible to play football without talking to each other during the match.

After the match, the fever of all the players and team staff will be checked. If a player or team staff had a fever, the opposition team would be given a two-week break in addition to their fellow players, coaches and staff.

All football leagues in Europe closed

South Korea is the first country to start football after Corona. However, countries like Belarus, Turkmenistan and Taiwan did not stop football matches due to coronavirus. The K-League will be Asia’s first major tournament in which matches will be played.
