Uttarakhand schools allowed to open after July 12; online classes to continue

Under school education in Uttarakhand, after the summer vacation, now from July 12, all the schools from class 1 to class 12 will be opened. The teachers have been ordered to be present in the schools from the due date. Till further orders, children will be taught through online mode only. Orders to this effect have been issued by Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram.

This decision was taken after the meeting. Till evening, an order in this regard was issued by Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram. Under which from July 12, all the schools of the state from class 1 to class 12 have been asked to open and teachers have been asked to be present.

Students are not allowed to come to school for now. At present, teachers will do the work of teaching and learning through online medium only. Regarding the coming to school for the students, the Education Minister says that the decision will be taken after holding talks with the Chief Minister.

Many secondary schools will be converted into Atal Excellent Schools

Special efforts will be made at the level of the state government to increase the confidence of parents towards Atal Utkrisht Vidyalayas. Under this, all the secondary schools that meet the standards of CBSE will be included in it.

On Wednesday, School Education Minister Arvind Pandey reviewed the Atal Utkrisht Vidyalayas in an online meeting in the office room of the Legislative Assembly. He said that the second phase of this project would be started soon. Under this, all the secondary schools that will meet the standards of CBSE will be included in this scheme.

English medium will be taught in their respective schools. For this, teachers who are proficient in English medium will be selected in the education department. In this regard, the service of teachers serving in difficult, very difficult areas will be counted for two years instead of one year.

Minister Arvind Pandey said that guest faculty would be brought on the basis of merit to increase the number of students. While directing the Education Secretary, the Minister said that the presence of teachers should be ensured in all basic and secondary schools.
