“What’s in a name?”, Apparently a lot if you are thinking about creating a Facebook profile. You may have come across the famous quote from Shakespeare many times. But even Shakespeare would have been at a loss of words on the name issue of a man named Phuc Dat Bich (it’s pronounced as Phoo da bic) come up during his time.
Tired of Facebook’s filters repeatedly blocking his account, the 23 year old Vietnamese-Australian uploaded a snapshot of his passport in order to prove to the social networking giant about the authenticity of his name. His picture of proof, and its accompanying message, has been shared more than 123,000 times since.
“I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it,” he said. “I’ve been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive.”

“Having my fb shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my ‘real’ name, so just to put it out there. My name. Yours sincerely, Phuc Dat Bich,” he shared.
