Britain lifts one of the strictest lockdown after 97 days

Britain is buzzing again after 97 days. The world’s longest and tightest lockdown began unlocking from Monday. The lockdown started here from January 5 due to uncontrollable corona. However, many restrictions were imposed in Britain since December. Now months later, hundreds of gyms, hair salon and retail stores have re-opened.

According to the predetermined plan, the lockdown will be lifted completely from June 21. According to experts, everything was clear when British PM Boris Johnson announced new restrictions on 4 January. The government had clearly mentioned which sector will remain open and when will the closed sectors open. Because of this, there was no panic among the people.

Britain controlled the speed of Corona by having restrictions on one side and fast vaccinations on the other side. At the same time, Europe is experiencing a third wave of corona due to slow vaccination and delay in lockdown. More than 55 thousand new cases were being received daily in Britain in January. Now the number of new patients has come down to 4 thousand. At the same time, the UK has applied covishield vaccine to more than 48% of its population.
