Union minister Smriti Irani was injured on Saturday after her car met with an accident on the Yamua Expressway enroute to Delhi, TV reports said. The HRD minister was returning from Vridavan where she addressed a convention earlier in the day.
According to reports, Irani injured her knee in the accident in which many cars crashed into each other. Preliminary reports say one person died in the accident while many security personnel was injured.
