Wearing mask no more compulsory in Beijing

Efforts to gradually normalize life after the Corona pandemic have reduced drastically in China which became the center of the spread of the corona virus. In the same exercise, health officials in the capital Beijing announced on Friday that there is no longer any need to wear masks in the city.

Must wear masks during contact with others

According to official data, a total of 935 infections have been detected in Beijing since February last. Of these, 924 were cured and nine victims died. The new guideline issued by the city’s Centers for Disease Control states that people no longer need to wear masks outside the home. However, wearing masks is still required during close contact with others. Those people have been told to stay away from wedding ceremonies, birthday parties and other gatherings, who have been in contact with people suffering from fever or respiratory problems.

Over 84 thousand corona infections were found in China

According to the National Health Commission of China, a total of 84 thousand 917 infections were found across the country. 491 of these are still under treatment. 79 thousand 792 have been cured. 4,634 victims have died.

Parties resume in China after Corona outbreak

When the world is reeling from the epidemic, large scale pool parties are being allowed to be held in China. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends no mass mobilization. Chinese broadcaster CCTV reported that last week about 27 lakh tourists visited Wuhan city, the epicenter of the epidemic in China. Several photos and videos have gone viral, showing large numbers of people at a pool party during a music festival in Wuhan.

Death toll in Latin America cross 2.5 million

The death toll from Corona in Latin America has crossed 2.5 million. Brazil is the region most affected by the pandemic after USA. The Health Ministry here said that the figure of 1,204 victims who died of death has exceeded one lakh 12 thousand. Whereas during this period, the total number of people infected has reached more than 35 lakhs due to 45 thousand 323 new cases.
