Nainital: People queue up outside liquor shops despite hailstorm
Alcohol lovers in Nainital were not bogged down by the inclement weather yesterday. Even after the heavy rains and hail fell on the Mall Road in Nainital, people were seen queued up outside liquor shops awaiting their turn.
In Nainital, there were long queues in Mall Road to buy liquor throughout the day. Heavy rain also started accompanied by hail in the evening. The hailstorm was so strong that even the umbrellas were not able to prove effective in it. Even after this, people stood with an umbrella outside the shop.
Some had umbrellas, while some stayed in line without any cover getting drenched. Not only this, there was a long queue there. The queue reached from the liquor store to the Tallital rickshaw station. On the other hand, the police also stood with an umbrella to make arrangements there.
