Drone based attack suspected in IAF airport in Jammu

Two IED blasts took place in the Technical Airport of Jammu were reported today at around 1.27 am and 1.32 am. Two people got minor injuries in this explosion. Both of them were immediately given first aid in the MI Room located at Air Force Station Jammu.

Meanwhile, Air Vice Chief Marshal Vikram Singh has also reached Jammu. He will discuss this in detail with the officials and take stock of the current situation. Apart from this, there will also be an in-depth discussion about the security arrangements of the airport.

NIA team reached the spot

NIA team has also reached the spot. The officers and jawans involved in the NIA team will investigate the spot thoroughly to see if the explosives have been blasted at the technical airport with the help of drones from some area in the early hours.

Para commandos arrived inside the airport

Army and police along with bomb disposal squad have reached the technical airport. The entire area has been cordoned off. No one is allowed to move from outside the airport route. Meanwhile, the police have arrested two terrorists from the city late on Saturday night. Para commandos have also gone inside the airport. These commandos will also help in collecting vital clues of the blast by scouting the entire incident.
