He said 125 authors and publishers would address the festival, the first one to be held in a mountain village in the country.

The festival is not just brainstorming sessions of authors but looks at a large vision to develop Dhanachuli into a model village.

Authors, such as Amish Tripathi, Jerry Pinto, Preeti Shenoy, Ravi Subrimanian and Nirupama Dutt among others would attend the festival, Batra said.

Batra said 50 per cent of the total participants in the festival would be of women.
