Stock market falls after presentation of interim budget

Before the interim budget, the Sensex rose 248.4 points in early trade to reach 72,000.51. At the same time, Nifty reached 21,788.35 points with a gain of 62.65 points. Although. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the interim budget 2024. After which fluctuations were seen in the market.

Today in the last trading hours the stock market reached the red mark. Sensex fell 106.81 points (0.15%) and closed at 71,645.30. At the same time, Nifty closed at the level of 21,689.65 with a decline of 36.05 points (0.17%). BSE Midcap index fell 0.3 percent while Smallcap index closed on a flat note. During this period, auto, bank, FMCG and power sectors rose by 0.3-0.8 percent, while capital goods, metal and realty indices declined by about one percent.
