Chief Minister Harish Rawat sold products made by Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for more than two hours at Gandhi Park on the occasion of Diwali on Sunday. There were more than 24 stalls set up by various Women SHGs. The Chief Minister visited the stalls one by one and explained the qualities of the products to the customers while selling the items. He helped sell products such as hilly millets, mandua, hand-made decorative items, woollen clothes and mushrooms, on the occasion. Rawat also helped a flower seller sell his garlands on the festive occasion. On the request of women SHGs, the Chief Minister had granted them permission to set up stalls at Gandhi Park every Sunday for four hours.
