‘Supersonic boom’ rattles Doonites
People were scared after hearing loud sound which resembled that of explosions in many areas of the capital Dehradun. When the news of these sounds being heard one after the other in many areas of Dehradun spread rapidly, the police administration also became alert. The teams left for the spot.
During this time the administration was also informed about the blast. Later it was found out that it was not an explosion but the sound of a super sonic boom. There was a massive loud sound in Dehradun around 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The explosion was so powerful that Premnagar area of Dehradun was shaken. Many citizens reported rattling windows due to the sonic boom.

According to the information, super sonic jets had taken off from Sarsawa, Haryana. On the same information, the police also investigated the city but found out that the sound had come from the flight of super sonic jet.
