CM Dhami flags off Delhradun-Ayodhya flight services

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday inaugurated the flights of Alliance Air from Jolly Grant Airport to Dehradun-Ayodhya, Dehradun-Amritsar, Dehradun-Pantnagar-Varanasi by lighting the lamp, cutting the cake and flagging off the air connectivity.

While addressing the program organized on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that ‘it is our endeavor to make the movement of people within the entire Uttarakhand convenient, simple and easy, for this we are continuously making efforts and the people of the country should be able to easily travel to different places of Uttarakhand. We can come from there, for which we are continuously working.’

Referring to air services, the Chief Minister said that ‘before this we have started air connectivity from Dehradun to Pithoragarh and from Pithoragarh to Dehradun and also started heli services from Haldwani to Champawat, Munsiyari and Pithoragarh. Referring to the flights starting today, he said that today is a very auspicious day, under which air services have been started for Dehradun-Ayodhya, Dehradun-Amritsar, Dehradun-Pantnagar-Varanasi.’

The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that under his leadership and period, there has been unprecedented progress in every sector including the air services sector.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister met and talked to the passengers traveling to Ayodhya and other places through these air services amid chants of Jai Shri Ram and wished them a happy journey.
