RRR creates history, ‘Naatu Naatu’ song nominated for Oscar in Original Song category
The nominations for the Oscars 2023 were officially announced on Tuesday (January 24) in Beverly Hills, California. Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced their Academy Award nominations. All eyes were on the nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. Meanwhile, this good news has come for India. After winning the Golden Globe Award, RRR is now officially nominated for Oscars 2023 as well. The film’s song Naatu Naatu has received a nomination in the Original Song category.
The music of the song is given by MM Kirwani. This blockbuster film by SS Rajamouli has created history at the Oscars. Earlier, the song Naatu Naatu has also received the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.
Apart from this, the Indian documentary film All That Breathes has got a place in the nomination for Best Documentary Feature Film.
