Filmfare Awards 2024: Ranbir, Alia win best actor and actress
The 69th Filmfare Awards (Filmfare Awards 2024) were announced on Sunday night. Ranbir Kapoor received the Best Actor Award for his role in Animal. While Alia Bhatt was given the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for the love story of Rocky and Rani.
12th Fail received the Best Film and Best Screenplay awards. Vidhu Vinod Chopra was also given the Best Director award for the same film. Shabana Azmi won the Best Supporting Actress award for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
OMG-2 was given the Best Story Award. Ishita Moitra received the Filmfare Award for Best Dialogue for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Apart from this, Shilpa Rao received the Best Female Playback Singer award for Pathan’s song Besharam Rang.
Bhupinder Babbal, who sang the song Arjan Vailly from Animal, received the award for Best Playback Singer Male. Director David Dhawan was given the Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution to cinema. This award ceremony was held at Gift City, Gandhinagar (Gujarat).
