The Uttarakhand government has come out with a new gift for those traveling by air. Even after the inauguration of the new terminal building of the airport by Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on October 8, it was not yet opened for passengers.

In fact, this building was not yet opened for passengers due to non-shifting of infrastructure from the old terminal building to the new terminal building, but now that all the works have been completed, the new terminal building has been opened for the passengers from today. Is. Airport Director Prabhakar Mishra said that the new terminal building has been built at a cost of 250 crores and from today the old terminal building has been closed for passengers and the movement of passengers has started from this new terminal building. He says that now the focus will be on Phase Two. The new terminal building can accommodate 10 times more passengers than the old terminal building. A total of 36 check-in counters have been set up in this new terminal building with a capacity of 1800 passengers. Along with this, travelers can also see the art and culture of Uttarakhand in this new building.
