Asian Games 2023: India breaks record medal haul of 2018 Asian Games
Today is the 11th day of the 19th Asian Games. Indian mixed team won bronze medal in race walk 35 KM. This was the first medal for India on the 11th day.
The Indian pair of Ram Babu and Manju Rani finished third in Race Walk 35 KM. The gold medal of the event was won by China and the silver medal by Japan.
With this India reached equal to its all-time best record of 70 medals set at the 2018 edition of the Games.
Shortly thereafter the team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Pravis Ojas Deotale clinched gold in compound archery mixed team final. This was India’s 71st medal at the Games. Till now India has won 71 medals including 16 gold, 26 silver and 29 bronze medals. India currently sits at the 4th place in the overall medal tally of Asian Games 2023.
