Coronavirus outbreak: Schools, cinema halls to remain closed in Delhi

The Delhi government has declared the coronavirus Covid-19 an epidemic. Also, an order has been issued to close all theaters in Delhi till 31 March. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced this. He said that in view of the danger of Coronavirus, it has been decided to close cinema halls of Delhi. Apart from this, the schools and colleges whose examinations have ended, have also been asked to be closed till 31 March. As a precautionary Rashtrapati Bhavan has also been closed for tourists.

Due to the ever increasing cases of Coronavirus in India, Delhi Government has taken this step. So far 73 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country. On Thursday, some new cases have been reported from Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh, Maharashtra. The Indian Premier League due to Corona virus this year is also under cloud. Meanwhile, PM Modi tweeted that there is no need to panic from the Coronavirus. The government is cautious about this.

Box office collections of films will be affected

This decision of the Delhi Government will also have a significant impact on the earnings of films. Irrfan Khan’s film English Medium is going to be released on 13 March. Sandeep and Pinky farar is to be released on March 20 and Akshay Kumar’s film Suryavanshi is to be released on March 24, but the closing of theaters in Delhi will have a significant impact on the film’s earnings and audience entertainment.

Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his wife have also tested positive for Coronavirus in Australia. Since then, its influence is being seen on the cinema of the whole world. Many Bollywood stars also canceled their foreign tours. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is also among those who canceled the foreign tour. Deepika Padukone had stopped going to Paris Fashion Week. A Deepika spokesperson had said, “Deepika Padukone was supposed to attend Louis Vitton’s Fashion Week 2020, but she canceled her trip.”
