Corona breaks all records in Uttarakhand in one day; 501 cases reported

Uttarakhand saw its steepest spike in Corona cases on Saturday, 08th August. 501 new Covid-19 positive cases have been reported in Uttarakhand today taking the total number of cases to 9402 including 5963 recovered cases, 3238 active cases and 117 deaths.

The maximum number of 172 cases are from Haridwar. Apart from this, 171 Udham Singh Nagar, 85 Nainital, 38 Dehradun, 10 from Bageshwar, 9 Pauri Garhwal, 5 Uttarkashi, 4 Tehri Garhwal, 2 Rudraprayag, 3 Pithoragarh and one case have been reported in Chamoli and Champawat. 232 patients have fully recovered, five infected have died. The number of infected in the state has increased to 9402. However, 5963 of these people have fully recovered. At present, 3283 cases are active, while 117 people have died. Apart from this, 39 patients have gone out of the state.

Three died in Doon Hospital

Three more corona-infected people have died at Doon Medical College Hospital. According to the information, a 62-year-old woman resident of Prem Nagar in Dehradun was admitted to the hospital on August 5 by family members. The condition of the woman continued to worsen and she succumbed to her treatment late Friday night. At the same time, a 37-year-old youth resident of Vikasnagar was admitted to the hospital on August 6. He also died during treatment late at night. Similarly, a 45-year-old resident of Bhauwala died on Saturday morning.

Corona report positive of six in 24 hours in AIIMS Rishikesh

A corona sample investigation conducted in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS in the last 24 hours has found the report of six people positive, including a local person.

Fine on those traveling without mask

At the review meeting of Covid in the Secretariat on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that strict action should be taken against those who violate the guidelines. Those who do not use masks should be fined, but along with the fine, they should also be given 04 washable masks.

For the use of masks in public places and violating the rules, a fine of Rs 200 is imposed for the first time and Rs 500 for violating the second time. Among those coming from high risk area or other states, if any person hides their travel history or is giving false information, then strict action should be taken against them.
