Corona thread wave in India could peak in February estimate analysts

The National Covid-19 Supermodel Committee has assessed that a third wave of corona infection may occur due to Omicron early next year. It may be at its peak in February. The head of this committee, Vidyasagar said that Omicron will bring a third wave in India, but it will be milder than the second wave.

Talking to ANI, he said, “There may be a third wave early next year. The third wave should be mild as compared to the second wave due to the massive immunity present in the country. The third wave will surely come. At present, around 7,500 cases are coming to our country every day, this number will increase when the Delta variant is effectively replaced by Omicron.”

A third wave of the Omicron virus will come but will be less deadly

Committee chairman Vidyasagar said that the third wave of Omicron virus will come in India but it will be less deadly than the second wave. He said a third wave is expected in early February next year. Although it will be milder than the second wave, but it will definitely come.

Professor Vidyasagar at IIT Hyderabad said there is little chance that the country will see more daily cases than the second wave. The government’s campaign to vaccinate all adults has been going on since March when the Delta variant knocked. The delta variant attacked people when the vaccine drive was just beginning.
