Schedule announced for league matches of IPL 2022

IPL 2022 schedule has been released. The first match of the tournament will be played on March 26 between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium. Right now only the venue and dates of league matches have been revealed. The status of the playoffs and final has not been clarified. The final match is to be played on 29 May.

All 70 matches of the league stage will be played in Maharashtra. 55 matches will be held in Mumbai and 15 in Pune. 20 matches each will be played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and Dr DY Patil Stadium, while 15 matches will be played at Brabourne Stadium. The remaining 15 matches will be held at the MCA International Stadium in Pune.

Two new IPL teams Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans teams will start their campaign from March 28. On this day, the match between these two teams will be played at Wankhede itself.

First double header on March 27

This time there are 12 double headers in total. That is, there will be 12 days in which two matches will be played. The league’s first double header will be played on Sunday, March 27. On this day the first match will be played between Delhi and Mumbai in Brabourne stadium and the second match between Punjab and Bangalore at DY Patil Stadium.
