World Athletics Championships 2023: Neeraj Chopra enters final; qualifies for Paris Olympics 2024

India’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra has made it to the finals of the World Athletics Championships 2023. He threw the javelin 88.77 meters in his first attempt and made it to the final. DP Manu is also in Group A along with Neeraj, while Kishore Jena is the only Indian in Group B. Neeraj Chopra has also qualified for the Paris Olympics by throwing the javelin over 85 meters in the World Athletics Championships. A minimum of 85.50m is required to qualify for the Paris Olympics and Neeraj cleared 88.77m in his very first attempt.

To qualify for the final of the World Athletics Championships, a javelin throw of at least 83 meters is required or it is necessary to be the top athlete in the group. Neeraj cleared a distance of more than 83 meters in his very first attempt and made it to the finals. Except Neeraj, no athlete could clear 83 meters in the first attempt. This is Neeraj Chopra’s best score this season.
