The SSC candidates who came from all over the country against the rigging of the combined Graduate level examination of the Staff Selection Commission were assembled on the Parliament Street of Delhi. SSC candidates are demanding fair investigation and strict action in this matter. Police have detained many students for agitation.
At the same time, the police used light force to disperse the crowd of students. Many students have suffered injuries in the police lathicharge. The students protesting have been accused that they were given the assurance of investigation, but no concrete action has been taken so far. Thousands of students demonstrated on the Parliament Street for different demands.
In this way about 5 thousand students came to protest in Parliament. After being removed from there, a team of about 2.5 thousand students reached Janpath and started protesting. Students jammed the road from Janpath to Connaught Place. The police used the force to disperse students from Janpath.
Students are performing vigorously on Jantar Mantar of Delhi on the scam in SSC. Students from different states across the country have come to Delhi. Students are performing outside the SSC office from 27th February. About five thousand boys and girls participated in this demonstration.
