SC gives 7 day deadline to complete inquiry into Unnao rape case victim accident

In the case of accident of Unnao Rape victim, there were two hearings today in the Supreme Court. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi has taken a strict stand in this matter and has transferred all the cases from Lucknow to Delhi. In addition, the court has ordered that the CBI probe into the victim’s case should be completed in a week.

Today this case was heard twice in the court. When the hearing began in the morning, the court asked the CBI officer to appear, along with the full status report. After this, the court ordered the CBI officer to complete the investigation of the accident within 7 days.

Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi also ordered that any number of cases connected with this matter in Lucknow will be shifted to Delhi’s court. Not only this, the court appeared strict when the letter of the victim was not received on time, the court asked the solicitor general why the letter of the victim did not come in the section of the PIL.

On which the Solicitor General replied that more than 6000 letters come to the Registrar every month, 6800 letters had come this month.

During the hearing Amicus Curie said that the victim should also be compensated. On which Justice Deepak Gupta said that he will order this to the Uttar Pradesh government. However, the solicitor general advised that the court should compensate itself in this case, the constitution says.

BJP removes accused MLA Kuldeep Sengar

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has removed Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the MLA of Unnao Rape Case, from the party. Before this, Kuldeep Singh was suspended by BJP but after the road accident with Rape victim, the party has shown the way out to MLA Sengar.

Unnao mishap victim’s aunt’s funeral was done on Wednesday at Shuklaganj Gangaghat. The victim’s uncle conducted the last rites. During this time, the entire staff of the district administration was present. Apart from this, the entire family of the victim was present at Gangaghat. Police and administrative officers were also present with heavy force on the spot. The police had stopped the other people who had come to the ghat right from the funeral of the dead bodies.

The victim’s uncle said, “We are standing firmly in this fight and will not go back in the battle of justice. Will only only rest after the accused are punished.”
