UP police summer uniform set to change

The UP police inspector, the Daroga and the uniform of soldiers will see a change soon. Now the proposal has been prepared to change the uniform of the officers of the police and is waiting for the final agreement on this. According to this change, these policemen can not wear cotton garments uniform in summer. Also monograms and stars will be stitched on uniform by embroidery. The shirt will be made of terrycot and will be kept lightweight with pants.
It has been argued in the new proposal that many policemen wear folded full sleeves shirts in the summer due to heat. So, having half-sleeve shirts will get rid of this problem. A letter has been forwarded to all the ADGs, SSPs, SP and PAC commanders on February 28, to make changes in the uniform. There may also be slight changes in uniform color.

Pocket style will also change

According to the new change, there will be a circular corner pocket. The shirt pocket currently has a tench button. But, now it needs to be converted to Velcro (without buttons). It is argued that the monogram should be stitched on the left arm, so that it will not need to be repeated and deployed.

No cotton cloth in Parades

According to this new proposal, there is no need for cotton cloth for uniform. Even in the parade, uniform of cotton cloth will not be worn. This uniform will have fabric polyester (67%) and viscose (33%) of Lycra. Along with this, the buckle used in the usual pants instead of the prevailing buckel in the uniform pants has to be used.
