Uttarakhand Open University sent books to English medium students in Hindi. Now students are running from pillar to post to change the books. They are not able to find English medium books at the study center. Also, books which have been found do not have the complete syllabus.
Higher education system in the state is not able on track. From Garhwal University to Ayurveda University, there are various types of confusion at the level of examinations. Now the new case has come from the Uttarakhand Open University. It has registered more than 1.5 lakh students in the state. There have been large-scale mistakes in the university’s syllabus and book distribution system.
In BSc, the trigonometric chapter has not been given to the course of mathematics. This is the case in other subjects also. The students are complaining about visiting the study centers, but they are not getting any solutions there too. The second major problem facing the students is the English medium books. Many students have been given Hindi medium books even though they are of English medium.
