Traffic to be diverted for Vice-President’s visit in Dehradun on April 25

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will arrive in Dehradun on Wednesday morning. After briefing about the Vice President’s arrival on Monday and after the minute-to-minute rehearsal, police officers returned from police line, during which time the information was changed for their travel schedule. After this, the police officers are now preparing for the re-change schedule according to the new schedule. During the Vice President’s visit, traffic in Dehradun will also be diverted. With the review of security arrangements on the spot, other necessary instructions were given by the officials.

Traffic plan to be implemented for Vice President’s visit in Dehradun

– Upon Vice President’s arrival at Jollygrant, no heavy vehicle from Bhaniyawala will go towards the Jollygrant. This plan will also apply when they return from Doon.
– The traffic coming from Rishikesh to Jollygrant will be stopped before 500 meters before the Jollygrant tri junction 20 minutes in advance.
– Heavy vehicles coming from ISBT to Haridwar will be diverted from Karagi Chowk, Mothrowala Chowk to Dudhali Road on their way from airport.
– Heavy vehicles going from Ring Road to Jogiwala Chowk will be diverted from six number bridge to Raipur, Thano, Ranipokhri.
– Heavy vehicles coming from Haridwar to Doon will be stopped in Nepali farm and Lalltappad.
– The heavy vehicles traveling from departmental stores from Doon, the Nehru Colony tri junction to the Rispna bridge, leading towards Haridwar will be sent from six numbers culvert to Ladpur, Raipur.
– All vehicles from Doiwala chowk will be diverted towards Dudhali, Mothrowala Chowk. During the program heavy vehicles coming from ISBT, Vikasnagar, Laltappad, Rishikesh on the route of VVIP will be restricted.
– No vehicle will come from Dhanpur Chowk to Fountain roundabout.
– On reaching Mohkampur of Fleet, the vehicles will be stopped in the Assembly Thiraha, Rispana, Nehru Colony Teri junction, Mothrowala Cut, Mata Temple Road, Dhobi Tiraha, Negi Tiraha, Agrawal Bakery, Aaraghar-T Junction and the Attic House.
– There will be Zero Zone from Aragarh to Dilaram Chowk, Raj Bhavan. No vehicle will run on this route.

Traffic-divert plan from Raj Bhawan to FRI

– After departure of Vice-President from Raj Bhavan,  VVIP route will be converted to zero zone for 10 minutes on different routes.
– None of the vehicles coming from Vijay Colony bridge will come towards the Annexi.
– Any vehicle from Circuit House Chowki will not move towards New Cantt House and CSD Canteen Tri junction.
– Any vehicle from Doon School trijunction and Oil Bhawan Cut will not go towards GTC Helipad.
– Vehicles will be stopped before 200 meters from Dakra Bazar Gate, Mahindra Ground.
– None of the vehicles from the MH p cut will go towards CSD Canteen tri junction.
– None of the vehicles will be moving towards Cantt Chowk from Tapakeshwar temple cut.
– None of the vehicles from Ambedkar Stadium will go towards Kaulagarh Chowk.
– None of the vehicles from Wadia Institute will go towards Ballupur.
– No vehicle will go towards FRI from Gupta Chowk Vasant Vihar.
– No vehicles from Panditwadi will go towards FRI.
