NCB busts rave party onboard cruise ship
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday busted a big drug party by raiding a cruise ship going from Mumbai to Goa. NCB took ten people into custody for allegedly consuming banned drugs in the party. According to news agency ANI, Samir Wankhede, zonal director of NCB, Mumbai, said, “We have questioned some people. The investigation continues. The drugs have been seized. We are questioning 8-10 people. “Wankhede declined to answer questions about the presence of any celebrity at the rave party on the cruise. He said, ‘I cannot comment on it.’
NCB had come to know from the sources that there is going to be a drug party in the beach on the cruise ship leaving from Mumbai to Goa on Saturday evening. After receiving this information, the zonal director of NCB Mumbai, Sameer Wankhede, along with his team boarded the cruise ship as a normal passengers. The party started on the ship as soon as it left the Mumbai border. The people on the ship started taking drugs openly.
Intoxicated people held
NCB team raided the party when people were intoxicated. The team took 10 people into custody. According to the information, the team also searched the ship. The team has succeeded in recovering a large consignment of narcotics like cocaine, hashish and MD. It is being told that the son of a big film star is also among those taken into custody. Those detained will be brought to Mumbai on Sunday morning.
