Pawan Hans to start Helicopter services between Chandigarh and Shimla from June 4

Chandigarh-Shimla helicopter Fare to start from Rs 2999

From next month, helicopter service is going to start from Chandigarh to Shimla. The minimum fare per person in this service will be Rs 2,999. Himachal Pradesh Government in collaboration with  Pawan Hans Ltd. will commence the helicopter taxi service betwwen Shimla and Chandigarh from 4th June onwards. On this route, Pawan Hans will use a 20-seat helicopter. The minimum fare has been fixed at Rs 2,999 per person. Initially this service will be available on every Monday and Friday. After seeing the response, the number of ferries can be increased. Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jayaram Thakur will flag off  the first flight from Chandigarh on June 4. With this heli service the estimated time travel between Shimla and Chandigarh will be reduced to around 20 minutes.
