A Haldwani Depot bus returning from Delhi met with an accident nearHapur. Driver-conductor died in the accident, while three-four passenger were also reportedly injured.
According to the information, the roadways bus (UK 07 PA 1518) running on Haldwani-Delhi route was traveling with passengers from Delhi on Sunday night for Haldwani. On the National Highway in Simbhavali, the bus crashed into a container truck.
In the accident, severely injured Kotbag resident operator Bhanu Prakash Joshi and driver Navin Chandra succumbed in the hospital. It is being told that due to break failure or the driver falling asleep behind the wheels might have caused the accident.
