Uttarakhand government allows reopening of schools for classes 1 to 9 from Feb 7

Classes from 1st to 9th are going to start in all schools of Uttarakhand from February 7. Till now online education was going on for these classes. Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu has issued orders regarding this. The classes of High School and Intermediate had already been started.

In view of the increasing cases of corona virus infection in the state, online education was started in schools. After this, offline classes were started for the students from class 10th to 12th from January 31. However, on the first day in government and non-government schools, only about 47 percent of the students of class 10th and 12th, while in private schools only 30 to 35 percent of the students reached school.

Private schools have also given the option of online classes to their students. Additional Project Director Samagra Shiksha and Chief Education Officer Dehradun Dr. Mukul Sati said that the Corona guidelines were completely followed in all the schools.
