Active Corona cases in India cross 10000 after 134 days
The cases of Corona in the country are on the rise. After 134 days, on Sunday, the active cases of corona in the country have increased to more than ten thousand. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Monday. According to statistics, 1805 people have been found infected in the country on Sunday. Now the infection rate has increased to 3.19% as the patients increased. Means the daily positivity rate has become 3.19 percent. Similarly, the weekly positivity rate has gone up to 1.39 percent. According to the Union Health Ministry, there are now a total of 10 thousand 300 patients who are being treated in the country. There were 9,433 active cases on Sunday.
Six people died in 24 hours
Within the last 24 hours, six people in the country succumbed to the infection. With this, the death toll from the infection has increased to 5,30,837. Chandigarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh reported one death each in a span of 24 hours. Two deaths were recorded in Kerala.
So far 4,47,05,952 people have come under the grip of infection in the country. According to the Health Ministry website, there are 0.02 percent active cases in these, while 98.79 percent people have been cured. 1.19 percent people died. Under the nationwide Covid vaccination campaign, 220.65 crore doses of anti Covid vaccine have been given so far.
78 percent cases increased in a week
An increase of 78% has been recorded in cases of infection within the last seven days. Last week i.e. between March 19 and 25, 8781 new corona patients were identified. Earlier, between 12 and 18 March, 4929 infected were found in the country.
