National Herald Case: Rahul Gandhi to appear before ED for third day in a row

Enforcement Directorate (ED) is interrogating Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for the second consecutive day in the National Herald Case. On Monday, the ED had interrogated for 10 hours in two phases. At the same time, there has been an interrogation of about seven hours today. Rahul appeared before the probe agency on Tuesday morning. During this, his sister and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was also with him. After about four hours of interrogation, he came out at around 3.30 pm and reached the ED office again after an hour. According to sources, the ED has called Rahul Gandhi for questioning again on Wednesday.

In view of the demonstrations of the Congress supporters and workers, tight security arrangements have been made around the ED headquarters. Barriers have been put up on all routes leading to the ED headquarters.

Congress leaders and workers also protested on the second day of Enforcement Directorate’s interrogation of Rahul Gandhi, after which the police took several people into custody. Police has imposed Section 144 in the area adjoining the Congress headquarters.

On the strictness of the police, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in Delhi said that no one can walk on the streets of Delhi. Where was democracy? Not more than 15 people can come to the Congress office. We wanted to go to the police stations and meet the Congress leaders, but for the first time, a ban is being imposed on the Chief Minister in the country.
